Jacksonville is Hosting Indianapolis in a Great Divisional Game Between the Two Teams
It’s Colts vs. Jaguars on live stream Thursday night football. The Colts vs. Jaguars game score is not what the Colts vs. Jaguars first half was supposed to look like, and Jacksonville is playing Indianapolis much tougher than most experts would have predicted.
The first half of the game has been a very exciting one, with Jacksonville trailing at one point, but coming back to take a 17-14 lead with just over two minutes to go in the first half.
You can never count out an undefeated team like the Indianapolis Colts though, and the second half could hold a number of surprises for this game. One surprise happened quickly, as Manning led them to a touchdown before the half ended.

Coming into the game, the Indianapolis Colts had a 13-0 record, while the Jacksonville Jaguars were second place in the division with a 7-6 record. Between the two teams, it was more important for Jacksonville to pull off the win, because they would need it to keep their playoff hopes strong.
Indianapolis has already clinched their division title and a first round bye in the AFC Playoffs, meaning that they are only now playing to try and achieve an undefeated record on the 2009 regular season. Now they have to weigh whether it is more important to rest their starters towards the end of the season, or continue to play for the undefeated record.
We will update the score for this game on page two as it progresses, but the first half was a very exciting half of play. In the first quarter Jacksonville kicked a field goal as the only score of the quarter, and took that lead into the second quarter. Indianapolis then out-scored Jacksonville by a score of 21-14 in the second quarter to take a 21-17 lead into the second half.
Peyton Manning went 12-12 in passing for 116 yards and two touchdowns in the first half, with running back Addai able to churn out an additional 30 yards on the ground. It was about as good as a quarterback could play in a single half to be sure. They ended up missing a 57-yard field goal before heading into the locker room.
On the Jacksonville side of the ball, they headed towards halftime with a very exciting set of plays trying to get down the field and into field goal range with only 34 seconds to play.
They were playing with the urgency that they needed to play as well, because they absolutely needed a win against Indianapolis to continue to have control of their own destiny as the playoffs begin to draw closer.
If they can finish 10-6 they are in the playoffs, and it’s still possible for Jacksonville to be in the playoffs at 9-7, but they will need some help from other teams that are also playing towards the playoffs late in the season.
